Cradley Pre-School Playgroup Teeny Tots

As at spring 2010 the Teeny Tots group meets at Storridge Village Hall every Thursday from 10.30am to noon. The cost is £1.50 per family including a healthy snack and tea or coffee for the grown ups.

A bit of history from September 2004.

Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Morning 9:30am to 12 noon
Afternoon 12:45pm to 3:15pm
Children could be dropped off at 9am and stay over for lunch time for an extra fee.

The Playgroup was held in the Cradley Scout Headquarters near the Church.

A Parent based Management Committee runs the Playgroup and strong parental involvement is encouraged at all sessions.

We are registered with Herefordshire LEA to receive the Nursery Education Grant, our Constitution is provided by the Pre-School Learning Alliance. This means we:

• Provide learning experiences which work towards the Early Learning Goals and follow the principles of the Foundation Stage guidance
• Are subject to Ofsted inspections
• Have a Special Educational Needs policy and employ a trained Special Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO)
• Receive termly visits from an early years mentor
• Participate in Herefordshire’s Early Years Childcare Partnership meetings
• Have a commitment to the professional development of our staff
• Are working towards an accredited quality assurance scheme
